The odds on David Moyes becoming the new Scotland manager have been slashed to 11/10.The former Man United and Everton boss was priced at 3/1 on Oddschecker, but they were shortened after a flurry of bets were placed on him to succeed Alex McCleish on Friday morning.2

Moyes is clear favourite to be the next Scotland boss

Other names on the betting shortlist to succeed McLeish is another former West Ham manager, Slaven Bilic, who is priced at 9/1, former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson at 10/1 and Aberdeen’s Derek McInnes at 14/1.Moyes has been out of management since he was sacked as manager of the West Ham at the end of last season.He guided the Hammers to a 13th place finish in the English top-flight.
